I will close down this account (which might be awhile yet). will be my new account permanently, since I no longer want the associations of this dA ID. PLEASE ADD ARTZYGRRL I would love to have each and every one of you as my new friends on that account. It was going to be simply a professional account but I have decided it will just be my new one.

Anyway, it won't be for a little while. I'm not leaving. I just haven't had the willpower to photograph my latest work to put on dA and now I'm going to wait until I get that account all set up with Deviations and all. I'm sure I will just leave this account as is and then start posting my new material on there, with a notice to anyone who wants to follow me to that account.

Also, just because I've been quiet does not mean I haven't been making arts. More to follow~

No, I'm not pregnant. I wish it were that, actually.

About 3 weeks ago my husband handed me a letter saying he wanted a divorce and was leaving that night. Then when I read the letter (explaining why he just couldn't live with me anymore, that he "never should have married me," and that he had had 2 affairs and "accidentally" fell in love with the second woman he slept with), he grabbed his bag and left. Then later that weekend he came and got his stuff.

SO. All that lovely drama basically means that I might not be on for awhile. I've started a professional account (Artzygrrl) but it doesn't have any artwork because I have been really busy lately. And now, I have to get a full-time job to make house payments and buy food (food is important! ). Add to that the fact that I no longer have Windows on my laptop and my tablet is pretty much Windows-only...well, you get the picture. I haven't had much time to doll or paint digitally.

But it's not all bad! I had a fantastic portrait show go up a couple weeks ago (right after hubby left) and I passed the review I was supposed to pass. Milestone accomplished! So, now I just have to finish up my classes in the next couple of semesters and do my senior show. Really excited about that.

Anyway I am doing fine emotionally and my church family and family-family (and my husband's family, actually) are all taking really good care of me. I have my doggy here at home and am enjoying the change in Wisconsin from spring to summer. And I am not a fake person. This isn't me telling you all that I don't have needs or anything, but you shouldn't lose sleep over it. God is carrying me through this, and I have a greater sense than ever of His love and protection.

Just so you know that I'm not dead or anything. I really, really love you all and I miss my digital art. Maybe I'll get things squared away this summer to get a nice Wacom tablet to use with my CS5 () Until then, keep me in your thoughts and prayers, and I WILL eventually make a comeback. Anyone who was ever a fan of Dena's Dreams when it was open knows I EVENTUALLY update...LOL...

Once I get all my paintings back from my professor, I'll photograph them and put them up, probably on Artzygrrl's account.

Just realized I have never posted on here about my fiction blog. I was planning on posting parts of my book on here but I think I have decided it's better for me to post short-shorts. Or rather, a link to my blog where I write short-shorts.

Bumbershoot Conundrum is all about me being inspired to create characters, ideas, move people, and inspire new things by writing very short, tantalizing stories that make you want to beg for more. I don't update once a week. More like every two weeks or so, but not that regular necessarily. It comes when the inspiration does. I am working on a larger work (a trilogy) at the moment, so what comes out of my pores when I'm not writing that or running around like a headless chicken throughout my busy life is what will end up being slapped up on this blog.

Please read it. I'd also like any feedback you'd care to give; you may leave it on the blog or simply click a reaction box if one of those reactions sums up how you feel about the story in that post.

Yes, hubby purchased Adobe CS5 - the Master Design suite. Before you assume (erroneously) that we are rich, he bought it through the university, which means about a 90% discount. So he paid $349 instead of the $1900 it is on the Adobe site. BUT STILL...!!!!!

I am about ready to jump out of my skin with excitement. I can't wait till the silly thing gets here. At which point I will GLADLY delete Windows off my MacBook and use exclusively my beloved Mac OS. (Now that I have finally got the internet at home to work on there I don't need Windows to access the internet anymore)

But man, I am so excited. I didn't ask for it for Christmas because I knew we couldn't afford it. So now this!
